The notions of indeterminacy and improvisation, and the place they give to the random and the unfinished, compose the framework for my in situ choreographic and vocal investigations.
My art practice is dedicated to embody and play with objects, architecture, ideas, movement and voice
The way I compose is a process of constant sliding and of making incongruous connections, reflecting the random path navigation of my thought-movement.
My practice focuses on the sonorous body by observing and generating sensations. Layers of attention support my intention to explore specific qualities of vocalisation and movement such as the relationship to the architecture and the objects, the gravity, the spaces between bones, the rebound of the organs. These spatial, physical, somatic principles open the range of my choices and expressions and give access to a lively taste of presence.
My choreography reflects the infinite possibilities of cooking with the ingredients of perception and imagination. As in the flow of memory and learning, my work is like a sketchbook; apparently scattered fragments form a whole whose common thread is my presence in relation with the public.
